In 2017, RAY’S purchased a 2010 Mack and its first car carrier -- a Delavan. Additional investment was made to overhaul the carrier. The learning curve was steep. As one of the most reliable assets, the Delavan hauled loads under Central Dispatch for Enterprise, CarMax and carried fleets of Mercedes Benz, Tesla, and BMW - just to name a few.

About Us
RAY’S FAMOUS TRANSPORTATION, LLC
Formed in 2017, RAY’S FAMOUS TRANSPORTATION is a transportation and logistics business, which initially encountered barriers to entry. Insurance premiums have restrictions and are high due to the length of time in business, and newly granted motor carrier authority numbers often face additional challenges of obtaining contracts. It was and still is a benefit to partner with other transportation providers to pass along knowledge for business operations.
Currently, RAY’S is in partnership with several transportation companies under vehicle lease agreements. Each agreement is unique. In addition to offering the asset, RAY’S may provide operational services, such as asset management (insurance guidance, preventive maintenance, maintenance reserves, repairs, inspections, fuel management and reporting), broker applications, dispatch, human resources, records retention (which is necessary for annual audits), and 24-hour on-call personnel.
